Alex co-founded Snowpoint Ventures, a venture capital firm dedicated to bringing the best technological talent to help our nation’s defense and broader government function, in 2021. Before founding Snowpoint he served as Senior Director of Forge Capital from 2019-2020 where he worked on primary fundraising for venture backed technology companies, structured liquidity programs for venture funds and their portfolio companies as well as advising both Slack and Palantir with their Direct Listings. Prior to Forge, he was the Head of Business Development and Partnerships at msg.ai (YC W16) from 2017-2019. After college Alex joined the United States Navy and served for 4 years as a Naval Cryptologist where he deployed twice to areas in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Upon completion of his service, he was recruited by Palantir's Business Development and Strategy Team in 2012, where he focused on product in relation to growth initiatives in the Intelligence and Defense space as well as international expansion with US-allied nations until 2017. Alex received his MBA in Entrepreneurship and Finance from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College in 2018 and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of San Francisco in 2007.
