Josh Richards is a finance leader with 15 years of experience at Sandoz, having built his career from the ground up after joining the company as an intern in the Financial Reporting & Accounting organization. Early in his tenure, he played a key role in transitioning accounting services from Princeton, New Jersey to Fort Worth, Texas where Novartis had their financial service center before moving into Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Over the next 12 years, he held positions of increasing responsibility across both generics and biosimilars, culminating in his role as Head of FP&A & Commercial Finance for North America/US from 2021 to 2025. During this time, he completed two international assignments, led a significant potential business unit divestment, and partnered closely with commercial and operational teams to drive strategic decision-making. In January 2026, Josh returned to his roots in Financial Reporting & Accounting, taking on the role of Head of Accounting & Reporting for the US, where he leads financial stewardship, reporting excellence, and compliance.
