Claire has over 25 years’ experience as a senior academic, having held almost every management and leadership role in the field of higher education, and at every level from PhD supervision to access courses, and in Law, Social Sciences, Healthcare and Journalism faculties at universities. Claire has taught and examined Jurisprudence, Criminology, Gender and the Law, Fraud law, International Financial law, AML, Tax and Financial Services Law, Corporate Governance, Business Ethics and Social Responsibility, Medical law, Criminal law, Data Protection law, Equity and Trusts, Human Rights Law, Media law, Land Law, Probate and Succession, and Justice, Law and History, all enthusiastically and at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Claire regularly advises governments around the world on a wide range of issues, including strategic change, policy, and law reform.
Her publications have been submitted for the UK universities’ research evaluation (REF) and have been independently rated as ‘world leading’ and ‘internationally excellent’. Claire has an unusually wide range of expertise, since her work has been interdisciplinary (law/finance/journalism/criminology/human rights), international, and comparative law of multiple jurisdictions.
Claire’s experience stretches across the areas of legal, educational and media consultancy, government and policy expert advice, Alternate Dispute Resolution, Corporate Governance, Compliance and Business Ethics advice, independent investigations and research, adjudications, reviews, and hearings expert witness, delivering keynotes, chairing charities and, leading and managing change in human rights, diversity inclusion and equity.
