Speaker

Profile

Ashleigh Bohr is an SVP in Content Development & Marketing Strategy at NRG. She partners with theatrical, broadcast, streaming, sports, and audio clients to shape strategy across the full content lifecycle — from early concept and positioning to creative and content testing, post-release evaluation and franchise extension. Ashleigh currently oversees NRG’s Future of Series product line, guiding research on evolving audience behaviors, content preferences, and what drives long-term series success in a crowded, global content landscape. She has led a wide range of genre, audience and brand studies, including segmentations for Black and Latino streamers, digital audio consumers, and NFL fans, and has helped clients navigate strategic questions around episode release cadence, platform bundling, rebrands, and engaging passionate fandoms — from Comic Con communities to emerging sports audiences.

At NRG, Ashleigh leads global custom research teams across the US and EMEA, supporting content and marketing decisions for 100+ titles annually, and regularly collaborates with executive stakeholders on thought leadership pieces and innovation. Alongside her industry work, Ashleigh previously served as an Instructor of Film Economics: Marketing & Distribution at Carnegie Mellon University, where she taught graduate-level courses on entertainment marketing, distribution strategy, and the evolving theatrical and streaming ecosystem. She is passionate about bridging data, creativity, and education — and about building leadership models and workplaces that allow talent, especially women, to thrive.

She is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point with a BA in Arts Management and Communications and earned her Masters of Entertainment Industry Management at Carnegie Mellon University.
