Profile
Julya Fridman serves as Vice President of Corporate Analytics and Business Intelligence at Charter Communications. She is responsible for developing enterprise-level audience and usage measurement systems, as well as delivering data-driven strategic recommendations to inform multi-billion-dollar programming investment decisions and various corporate initiatives/objectives. Under Julya’s leadership, her team utilizes big data and advanced analytics to build comprehensive content valuation models, develop Engagement metrics across all consumer products and evaluate Charter’s order-to-activation business processes.
Previously, she was Vice President, Multiplatform & Distribution Analytics at A+E Networks. In this role, Julya led the multiplatform analytics efforts for A+E Networks, including the measurement and valuation of content across all platforms, supporting all brands in the A+E Networks’ portfolio (History, A&E, Lifetime, etc.). In addition, she handled the evaluation and execution of new business partnerships with non-traditional content distributors, such as virtual MVPDs and Connected TV / device manufacturers.
Prior to joining A+E Networks in 2007, Julya led Distribution Research efforts at Starz Entertainment Group, where she played a key role the launch of Starz on Demand and the addition of three new channels to the Starz package. She has also held positions in Market and Competitive Intelligence at Comcast and Lumen Technologies (formerly CenturyLink).
Julya co-chaired the Insights and Analytics Council of the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) and currently serves on the Advisory Board for Media Insights and Engagement Conference.
She holds an M.B.A. degree in Business Strategy from Yale School of Management and a B.S. degree, suma cum laude, in International Business and Marketing from University of Colorado at Boulder.
