Makeda Mays Green leads research to understand diverse youth and family audiences and to guide content, product, and platform decisions across Nickelodeon. Previously, she led Education & Research, Digital Media at Sesame Workshop. A frequent keynote speaker, she has guest-lectured at Harvard, NYU, and Temple and is the author of Makeda: Moving Up in Media. Makeda serves on advisory efforts including Raising Good Gamers, 100 Billion Meals, and the Ferguson Library, and has recently spoken at Kidscreen Summit about kids’ mental well-being. She holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University and M.A./Ed.M. in Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
