His speaking engagements include SXSW, MIT Media Lab, Harvard Alumni Network, industry podcasts and more. He earned his bachelor's degree in History from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and attended graduate school at NYU.

Beyond entertainment, Mark is well versed in ostrich ranching as he grew up on the largest of its kind on the west coast of the United States, Silver Oaks Ostrich Ranch.
