Sean Fassett is currently the SVP of Research and Media Insights and part of the leadership team at Nexstar Media overseeing National Research Insights for The CW Network, NewsNation, AntennaTV and RewindTV.
In his current position Sean is responsible for all National Research insights, evaluation of the changing media landscape, programming acquisitions and performances across National networks and digital properties.
Before being named SVP in Jan 2023, Sean was VP of National ad Sales Research and was responsible for developing, reporting, and positioning the networks assets to the advertising marketplace.
Sean has held numerous Research leadership positions in his 30-year career at MSNBC, AMC, IFC, and BRAVO, Rovi (now TIVo) and CurrentTV/Al Jazeera America
Earlier in his career Sean provided insights into the launch of such signature shows as Bravo’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, AMC series Breaking Bad, Mad Men and mini-series Broken Trail, and provided news marketplace insights helping launch MSNBC.
Sean is a Media/Communications graduate of New York Institute of Technology.
