William R. (Bob) Satterfield, III has over 35 years of federal service, all with the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Enterprise Procurement Organization (formerly the National Acquisition Center) Acquisition Service 5 (FSS). Throughout his career, he has supported a wide range of procurement programs, including standardized national contracts for pharmaceuticals, the VA Pharmacy Prime Vendor program, and MedSurg initiatives. Most recently, he oversaw the FSS Services Division’s programs for temporary healthcare staffing and pre-analytical diagnostic testing and results interpretation. He currently serves as the Chief of Pharmacy Division A, where he jointly manages FSS programs Schedules 65 I B – Pharmaceuticals, 65 II – Dental, and 65 VII – In Vitro Diagnostics, Reagents, Test Kits, and Sets.
