Diana Lawal serves as the Division Chief for the Pharmaceutical-Dental Program within the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS). She provides executive leadership and strategic oversight for more than 250 Pharmaceutical-Dental contracts valued at over $123 billion. Her leadership ensures the effective management of critical federal acquisition programs that support the health care needs of the nation’s veterans.
Ms. Lawal concurrently serves as Chairperson of the Public Law Policy Group, where she oversees compliance with Public Law 102-585, the Veterans Health Care Act of 1992. Her role ensures adherence to legislative requirements focused on improving health care services for veterans—particularly women veterans—enhancing collaboration between the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Department of Defense (DoD) and sustaining pharmaceutical pricing and discount provisions for branded drugs.
She holds a Bachelor of Public Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Concordia University. In 2017, Ms. Lawal completed the Excellence in Government Fellows Program. She also maintains a professional-level certification in contracting and holds an unlimited contracting warrant, reinforcing her deep expertise in federal acquisition, governance, and policy execution.
Before joining the Federal Supply Schedule, Ms. Lawal served more than 20 years on active duty in the United States Navy, retiring as a naval officer in 2007. Her distinguished awards while on active duty include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and National Defense Service Medal
