Lorilyn Rosales Menzel is Associate General Counsel, U.S. Market Access at AbbVie, where she provides strategic legal guidance to the company’s U.S. businesses with specialized expertise supporting Market Access and Trade. She advises senior management and business partners on external developments affecting pharmaceutical interests, proactively identifies risks and opportunities, and collaborates cross-functionally to implement innovative solutions. Her work includes serving as a primary legal resource for 340B payor dispute management, reviewing rebate agreements with a focus on 340B-related provisions, and supporting compliance and business positioning within the 340B Drug Pricing Program.

She also provides legal support for AbbVie’s Trade organization, including distribution service agreements, specialty distribution arrangements, and Trade marketing initiatives, as well as support for the Oncology franchise from a Market Access perspective. Her experience includes drafting, revising, and managing commercial and Medicare Part D rebate agreements, group purchasing organization arrangements, specialty pharmacy provider and distributor agreements, and related dispute management.

Prior to joining AbbVie, Lorilyn spent nearly a decade at Boehringer Ingelheim, where she focused on market access, 340B strategy, rebate contracting, value-based agreements, patient support programs, and promotional review. Earlier in her career, she served in senior legal and compliance roles supporting Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D plans, and began her legal career in healthcare law and regulatory matters. Lorilyn holds a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, an MPH from Columbia University, an LL.M. in International and Comparative Business Law from London Metropolitan University, and a B.A. from Cornell University.
