Michelle Drozd is an Executive Director at Gilead where she leads US Pricing Policy and Analytics also called the “drug pricing strike force.” The team leads the internal policy response on government “negotiation,” Prescription Drug Affordability Boards, 340B, and other price control policies. Michelle previously led reimbursement policy where she helped drive the company’s response on Part D redesign, line extensions, the six protected classes, and other topics.

Michelle spent seven years at PhRMA where she led work on Medicare Part B, value-based contracting, and many other issues. Michelle also worked at Mass General Brigham where she managed quality improvement teams and was part of the internal strategic planning team. She also worked at RTI international as a contractor for the CMS designing and evaluating value-based care demonstrations.

Michelle holds degrees in economics and public policy from Duke University and health policy and management from Harvard School of Public Health.
