Dave Bottom has 15 years of experience in the medical device sector in design engineering and standards conformity roles. He has worked in teams developing new products and has many patent applications for medical devices and pharmaceutical packaging innovations. He currently manages standards conformity for devices and essential principles of safety and performance checklists. For 10 years he has actively contributed to standards development as a committee member of BSI/ISO/TC 121 and BSI 210/5, as a project leader, and author of standards and expert commentaries. His interest is improving patient healthcare through innovation and standardisation.
