Currently serves as Manager of Preclinical Evaluation at ČMI Medical, a Czech notified body in the process of designation under the Medical Device Regulation (MDR).

He has extensive experience spanning research, development, manufacturing, and regulatory assessment of medical devices, with a long-term focus on nanotechnology-based wound care solutions. He is a co-author of several protected technical solutions, including advanced surgical wound dressings with silver and a device enabling personalized wound dressing functionalization.

Previously, he held senior leadership roles such as Director of Research and Development and Chief Technology Officer at multiple Czech medical device manufacturers, where he was directly involved in translating research outcomes into compliant medical products.

He is the author of several peer‑reviewed publications in impacted journals and obtained his PhD from the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague.
