Dave Rhéaume was appointed Executive Vice President – Energy Planning and Customer Experience in 2023. In this capacity, he is tasked with forecasting Québec’s electricity needs in the context of the energy transition and managing Hydro‑Québec’s energy supplies as well as product and service offerings in such a way as to balance supply and demand, while also maximizing the company’s contribution to the attainment of Québec’s decarbonization and economic development objectives. Given that customers are at the heart of this process, he is also responsible for activities related to energy efficiency, electricity rates and the customer experience. His team’s mandate also includes seizing opportunities to create energy partnerships, in particular with neighboring markets.
