James Beach joined the Broccolini team in 2012 as a Development Manager in the company’s Ottawa office. As part of the team responsible for securing land assets, recruiting tenants, preparing lease packages, and hiring architects and engineers, he played a critical role in seeing multiple Broccolini buildings come out of the ground in Ottawa’s downtown core. James’ passion and leadership abilities then saw him promoted to Director of Real Estate & Business Development. In this position, he led Broccolini’s Ottawa office in all real estate and development pursuits, helping to generate multiple development, leasing, and construction opportunities. Now, as VP of Real Estate Development, James contributes significantly to the company’s strategic planning, always with a view to creating growth and improving financial performance. He actively participates in both real estate and development initiatives and directs the improvement of Broccolini’s existing portfolio through lease negotiations and the management of dispositions. Recognized for his professionalism and integrity, James acts as a liaison with brokers, municipalities and government organizations, trade organizations, and property owners. He also acts as Broccolini’s lead representative with some of the company’s big¬gest clients. As such, he plays an integral role in developing and maintaining important strategic relationships, thereby significantly propelling the company’s growth. James’ experience and business acumen give him a keen insight into the market and an agility to keep pace with industry trends. This allows him to identify opportunities for potential deals, ac¬quisitions, and joint-venture projects. Since his arrival, James has been intimately involved in the successful development and construction of multiple Broccolini projects across all asset classes.
