Michael Fraidakis is the Head of Alternative Investment Strategies and Chief Investment Officer, Canada. He leads LaSalle’s value-add capabilities in Canada and plays a primary role developing new investment strategies and associated capital raising. Prior to joining LaSalle, Michael served as Managing Director, Head of Canadian Investments at BGO where he was responsible for the development and execution of investment strategies across all clients, funds, markets and sectors. He also previously held positions at Beutel Goodman Real Estate Group and the Cadillac Fairview Corporation. Michael began his real estate career in 1997 and has a wide range of multi-functional leadership experience across all asset classes and markets in Canada. Throughout his tenure, he has completed over C$20 billion in transactions. Michael earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Real Property Development from the Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Administrative Studies (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from York University.
