Abhijeet is a 14-year veteran of PayPal, instrumental in setting up and running many of PayPal’s global Risk and Analytics practices, from its early days as a rapidly growing start-up to its emergence as a global fintech leader.

An MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (India), Abhijeet started his career with Standard Chartered Bank, getting a well-rounded cross-functional experience in collections, customer service, sales, and marketing for unsecured lending products, before making a career pivot into the world of analytics with GE.

Over his 22-year global career, Abhijeet has lived in India, US, Singapore, and Ireland. Currently based in Ireland, Abhijeet is a freelance fintech consultant, a non-executive director, and an investor in multiple startups, startup funds, and the stock market.

Passionate about sports, travel, and adventure, Abhijeet has played in international cricket tournaments, was a cricket fitness trainer, is a trained volunteer soldier with the Singapore Armed Forces, a strategy advisor with a non-profit in Togo, a travel blogger, and has motor-cycled across India and Bhutan, including to the world’s highest motorable road.
