Prakash Chainani is a seasoned pharmaceutical industry leader with around 30 years of experience managing multi-cultural Finance teams in Global setups. His areas of expertise include Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, Auditing, MIS, Budgeting and Forecasting, Taxation, Treasury management, AR and AP Management including Gross to Net Accounting.

Prakash has been associated with both large and small companies as well as startups. Throughout his career, Prakash has partnered with executive leadership teams and Boards to drive strategic planning, create value within teams, launch excellence, target commercial growth and transform financial management to scale business needs. Besides Finance, Prakash has handled IT Projects and implementations as well as is responsible for Human Relations.

Currently, he serves as Senior Vice President of Finance, IT and HR for Lifestar Pharma LLC, a fully owned subsidiary of Mankind Pharma Limited.

A Certified Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) with a Masters in Financial Management, Prakash brings a strong General Management foundation combined with a practical, business-focused perspective. His expertise lies in managing complex teams, navigating the complex financial dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry, including working alongside CMO’s and Manufacturing to bring the product to market in the highly regulated Pharmaceutical market.
