Jill Fallows Macaluso, Esq., RN, has served as the Vice President and United States Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer at Novo Nordisk since 2015. In an era where corpo-rate ethics and business success are often viewed as competing interests, Jill has pio-neered an approach at Novo Nordisk that positions ethics and compliance as a strate-gic advantage. She has fostered a culture of inclusion that nurtures open dialogue, em-powers people to speak up, and moves beyond rigid rule-setting.

Jill joined Novo Nordisk in 2003, taking on several roles of increasing responsibility within the Legal Team over nine years, including the position of Senior Corporate Coun-sel. In 2012, she transitioned to the Compliance Department as Senior Director. Prior to her tenure at Novo Nordisk, Jill worked in the General Corporate and Healthcare prac-tice at Day Pitney, LLP. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law. Jill is a leader outside of Novo Nordisk as well, serving as a twice-elected member of the Moorestown, N.J. Board of Education.
