Maurice serves as Industry Practice Leader for Moody's Analytics, a subsidiary of Moody's Corporation (MCO: NYSE), a Fortune 500 company that is composed of more than 14,000 employees across 137 countries. Moody's Analytics is an integrated risk management company providing financial intelligence and analytical tools that help clients manage compliance and third-party risks.

In his role, Maurice leverages more than 30 years of combined industry and consulting experience. He works with chief compliance officers, chief risk officers, general counsels, heads of internal audit, heads of human resources, procurement professionals, and other organizational leaders -- across all industries -- helping them manage a wide variety of compliance and third-party risks (e.g., bribery and corruption, ESG, fraud, OFAC, human rights, know your customer, money laundering, etc.), through the enablement and optimization of Moody's Analytics' world-class risk management services and solutions, data and analytics capabilities, intelligence, and tools and technologies.

As a former accounting firm partner and consultant, Maurice has worked with organizations across all industries, helping them assess, design, and enhance their ERM, ethics and compliance, ESG, and third-party risk management programs. With responsibility for leading all aspects of the client engagement lifecycle, Maurice served many of the world's most recognizable brands.

And as a former chief ethics and compliance officer, Maurice has held leadership compliance positions in leading, global companies, such as the Fortune 10 Altria family of companies (then composed of Philip Morris, Kraft Foods, Miller Brewing, etc.), Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals, and the DeVry Education Group, Inc. As a former chief ethics and compliance officer, Maurice has reported to the audit committee of the board, and he has collaborated cross-functionally and worked side-by-side on the ground in more than 35 countries, gaining a first-hand appreciation for the importance of cross-cultural partnering, as well as the keys to success associated with implementing global programs at a local level. Maurice is a certified compliance and ethics professional (CCEP), holds an advanced degree in organizational governance and compliance, and teaches graduate-level courses addressing the inter-related topics of corporate social responsibility, governance, compliance, ethics, and organizational culture. He is also a member of several professional organizations. He speaks regularly at conferences and is published in numerous journals
