As Chief Compliance Officer for Novartis US and US Country Head, Ethics Risk and Compliance (ERC), Shefali leads a team of specialists that provide guidance on healthcare compliance and risk management matters across Novartis US. In her approach, Shefali places emphasis on empowering associates to operate with confidence and accountability, promoting a high-integrity culture to foster trust with society and patients. Shefali joined Novartis in 2011, having previously spent eight years practicing law at Arnold and Porter. Prior to taking on her current role, she held various positions of increasing responsibility across the Novartis Global and US Legal Departments.

Shefali holds a B.A. from Williams College and earned her J.D. from UCLA School of Law.
