As a co-founder and partner at Dovetail Consulting Group, Tara works with emerging and established companies to develop strategic approaches to compliance, privacy, and risk management, tailoring program elements to the business needs of each client. She provides insight into emerging risks, enforcement trends, operational challenges, and navigating complex organizations. Before Dovetail, Tara served in roles including SVP, General Counsel, and Secretary at Chiasma; VP of Commercial Law at Vertex; and Senior Corporate Counsel at Genzyme. Tara earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she also served as a graduate student instructor in Communications, and she holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where she was graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
