Mohammad Ovais is the Founder and CEO of qordata. He has spent 23 years building technology for clients across North America, and the last decade of it inside one problem: helping life sciences companies get ahead of commercial compliance risk before a regulator finds it first. He holds a computer science degree from Rice University and completed the Entrepreneurial Master's Program at MIT.

He founded qordata as the Sunshine Act reshaped how pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies disclose HCP and HCO payments, starting with Open Payments analytics and growing it into a full platform spanning transparency reporting, expense monitoring, and engagement compliance. He remains a regular speaker at life sciences compliance conferences and webinars.
