AODA (ACCESSIBILITY FOR ONTARIANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT) CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICY
PM Springfest is committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities and providing the same opportunities to access our events; the same services, in the same place, and in a similar way as other participants. If you require accessible formats, communications and/or onsite support, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
All levels of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre are accessible under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. Please click here to view the Metro Toronto Convention Centre Accessibility Maps by level (for reference, PM Springfest will be taking place on level 800 in the South Building).
Wheelchair availability: The MTCC has Wheelchairs available as a courtesy service on a first come first serve basis. Please visit our Guest Services agent located in the South Building on Level 500
Service animals are allowed into all areas of our events that are open to the public. If it is not readily apparent that the animal is a service animal, then we may request to see a letter from a physician or nurse practitioner confirming the animal is needed for reasons relating to a disability (we do not need to know the nature of the disability).
Complimentary Admission: PM Springfest will offer a complimentary admission badge for the support person of a person with a disability. Persons with disabilities should visit registration on Level 800 to obtain their badge and receive the complimentary support person’s pass.
PM Springfest staff will do their best to communicate with people with disabilities in ways that take into account their disabilities. To ensure your visit to PM Springfest is a rewarding experience, contact us in advance to let us know how we can better assist you. Should you require accommodation please email email@example.com three weeks prior to the event opening day and we will work with you to meet your accessibility needs.
EMERGENCY EVACUATION PROCEDURES
Persons requiring accommodation in the event of an emergency evacuation should notify PM Springfest staff at Registration on the 800 Level.

A clearly posted notice will include information about the reasons for the disruption, its anticipated length of time and a description of alternative facilities or services, if available. The notice will be posted at the point of service or facility disruption.
