Paul’s practice focuses on advising and advocating on behalf of a variety of clients, including public and private sector owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, sureties, and design professionals, guiding them throughout the lifecycle of construction projects. His experience in construction litigation includes lien actions, breach of trust actions, insolvencies, and claims for breach of contract, negligence, deficiencies and delay. Paul regularly appears before the Superior Court of Justice and the Small Claims Court and has assisted with matters before the Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court of Canada. Prior to joining WeirFoulds, Paul was an Associate at a Toronto-based full-service law firm, where he managed construction, insurance and commercial litigation files at all stages of litigation.
