Sustainability Mandate
Prioritizing sustainability is critical to the PM Springfest team, and parent company Informa Connect, as we understand the environmental impact of the events industry. PM Springfest strives to identify, understand, and address these impacts to achieve continual improvement year after year. Not only are we committed to running our events in an environmentally and socially responsible way, but we also strive to go further and inspire the sustainable development of the industry we serve and the community we foster.
Our Efforts
Metro Toronto Convention Centre
Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building is a LEED gold certified facility. Every year, the MTCC reduces their environmental footprint by diverting 90 percent of event waste from landfill and by decreasing our energy consumption.

Waste Diversion
Last year PM Springfest diverted 81% of waste from landfill. We have removed our aisle carpets, we re-use signage and implement digital signage where possible. We will be tracking our energy consumption and wastage in 2025. Be sure to trash your garbage correctly!
Renewable Electricity
We purchase renewable electricity certificates and purchase carbon offsets for staff travel for each PM Springfest event.
Badge Recycle
Please recycle your badges on the way out, we send them to Terracycle who are on a mission to eliminate waste.
