How we're bringing the industry together safely in Florida
Working closely with government, local authorities and venues
We’ve updated our protocols in light of the Omicron variant and will now require proof of a negative PCR or Antigen test for admittance, regardless of vaccination status.
As an organizer that greatly cares about our community, we feel this is the most responsible approach given the circumstances and guidance from the CDC. We have many other measures in place as well such as the use of outdoor space, distancing, cleaning, in-door air filters and masking as appropriate. Should you have any questions in adhering to these protocols, please contact our team and we will do all we can to assist.
There is a testing site located near the venue that offers Nasal PCR, Oral Self Swab and Rapid Antigen Tests. Please click here for more information.

In light of the Omicron variant, Private Placement Industry Forum is updating its protocols and will execute the following best practices to help attendees stay healthy and to reduce exposure and risk to COVID-19.
Do I need to be fully vaccinated or have a negative covid test to attend?
All attendees, including vendors and guests, will need to provide a negative PCR or Antigen COVID-19 test at registration, regardless of vaccination status.
- All tests must be taken within 48 hours of arrival.
- Please take a picture of your negative test alongside your government ID and present this as one picture when you check-in at the Private Placement Industry Forum registration desk.
*If you have difficulty securing a test, please contact our team for assistance.
Do I need to wear a mask? What if I am fully vaccinated?
Mask use will be recommended indoors.
We will provide masks at registration for attendees on an as-needed basis and have signage around the event space that promotes mask-wearing while indoors at our event.
All staff at the Loews and on the Private Placement Industry Forum team will be wearing masks.
What additional measures are being followed at Private Placements Industry Forum 2022?
We would like to ensure our attendees feel confident as they return to our event so we have put the following additional measures in place:
- Breakfast & lunch seating will be outdoors, weather permitting; with served buffet lines.
- Conference rooms will be set for social distancing for any indoor sessions.
- The Loews supplies constant fresh airflow to all guest room floors and public spaces and have upgraded their air filtration.
- Cleaning of guestrooms, meeting rooms, corridors and public areas with a Peroxide Multi-Surface Cleaner and Disinfectant, an EPA approved product effective against viral pathogens including COVID-19.
What happens if I cannot attend the event because I have COVID-19 symptoms, have tested positive or am unable to travel due to changes in quarantine rules?
We ask all attendees to stay at home/do not travel to PPIF if you:
- Tested positive for COVID-19 in the 10 days leading up to the conference.
- Have a fever over 100.4 in the 72 hours leading up to the conference.
- Are unvaccinated (unless you have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 3 months) and have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 in the 10 days leading up to the conference.
If the above applies to you, colleagues can be sent in your place or you will receive a credit note given to use against another event.
