Mainak Das, Executive Director, joined CIBC in September 2023. Mr. Mainak focuses on originating and structuring CIBC Capital Markets private credit & alt credit structured finance solutions, including both on balance sheet structured financing solutions and capital markets 4(a)(2) transactions.

Prior to joining CIBC, Mr. Mainak was an Executive Director in the Institutional Securities Group at Mogan Stanley where he originated and structured finance transactions for top tier private credit and alt focused asset managers. Mainak had originated and structured unique structured finance solutions in both secured and unsecured formats in Morgan Stanley with tier 1 credit focused asset managers which were placed with real money accounts in the 4(a)(2) market.

Mainak began his career in the elite on-call technical accounting group of Ernst & Young. Mr. Mainak received a Master’s in Finance degree from Bentley University and is CPA from the Delaware.
