Peter DeFazio

Managing Director, Head of Corporate Privates at Corebridge Financial

Mr. DeFazio joined Corebridge Financial, through predecessor entities AIG and American General, in 1998. As Head of the Corporate Privates team, he manages a team of investment professionals and $10 billion fixed income portfolio and is a member of the Private Credit Group Investment Committee. Prior to Corebridge, Mr. DeFazio gained investment experience while employed at GE Capital and Citigroup. Mr. DeFazio was elected President of the Private Placement Investors Association in January 2012 and served a three-year term. Mr. DeFazio is a graduate of Ithaca College and earned an MBA from Simon Business School at the University of Rochester. He is a CFA charterholder.
