Steve is Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer of Aegle Health Partners, Inc, a specialty healthcare lender, and brings over 20 years of capital markets expertise to Aegle having structured, and originated over $45 billion in equity, debt and securitization transactions across corporate and consumer credit sectors during his career. Steve has an extensive background growing early-stage companies, fostering new investor relationships, raising debt and equity, driving profitability, formulating and executing strategic plans, and managing complex balance sheets. He is also particularly adept at developing innovative capital markets distribution channels for non-bank lending institutions as well as leading workouts of complex distressed assets, having spent five years unwinding a large financial guaranty insurance company in the fallout of the global financial crisis. Post financial crisis Steve spend three years building a $200 million market for small banks and credit unions to have access to private student loans. Post that he built the finance and capital markets function for a startup subprime auto company taking it from $20 million to well over a $1.0 billion in loans issued in just 5 short years. In his off-time Steve is an avid hiker and health enthusiast and lives in Westchester County, New York. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Virginia Tech and an MBA in Finance from George Mason University.
