Alisa is a seasoned founder and executive with a background in fintech, alternative investments, trade finance, consumer finance and private debt. She started her career a decade ago in investment banking at Martel Capital. Later, she helped launch Zenith Group Advisors, a private credit fund, and co-founded Newbridge Global, a trade finance boutique supporting domestic and international SMEs.

She later was the first employee at Marco, where she built the credit infrastructure and product roadmap and trained credit and analyst teams. This helped secure a Seed raise of $7.2M along with a $100M credit facility. In the beginning of 2022, she partnered with the Swiss Asset Manager Crescendo Group to launch and run a trade finance fund. In her career she directly underwrote and oversaw over $1.5 billion of trade finance and ABL transactional volume.

Alisa has been featured in panels at Bloomberg (Bloomberg Surveillance, Bloomberg Invest, Bloomberg Quant), World Economic Forum Tradetech Summit, NYU, Finovate, the New School Venture Lab, Antler VC, CeFPro Advanced Model Risk, Risk Americas, Global Trade Review (GTR), QuantMinds International, RiskMinds by Informa Connect, ITFA, Quant Strats, Money 2.0 Conference, and others.

In 2021, she received a 40Under40 Award in Underwriting by Secured Finance Network. In 2020 she was named top 25 women by Opus Connect, was included in the Women in Fintech Powerlist 2022 by Innovate Finance, and recognized as a Top Outstanding Woman in Trade, Treasury & Payments 2024 by Trade Finance Global (TFG).

Alisa is a contributor to the textbook Cases in Financial Management: Financial Analysis for Corporate Financial Management. Her articles on fintech, trade and credit have been published by This Week in Fintech, Trade Finance Global, Secured Finance Network, CefPro Risk Americas, and others.

She is a member of the Economic Club of New York and sits on multiple boards including Ankh Impact Ventures, Trade and Logistics Fintech Fishtail, Trade Treasury Payments (TTP), Quant Strats EU and others.
