Bjoern is a doctoral researcher in Banking and Finance at Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany. His research studies supervisory enforcement in corporate governance and its effects on firm behavior and stock returns. In parallel with his doctoral work, he is a Project Change Lead at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt, focusing on KYC and AML initiatives. He holds an MSc in Management from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and a BA in Finance and Management from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
