Eulogio Miguel Cuesta Yustas, PhD, is head of the Quantitative Analysis internal audit team at Banco Santander. He has more than 20 years’ experience in quantitative finance, model validation, and risk management. He holds a PhD in Physics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) and has held several leadership roles in model validation, including head of Pricing Model Validation. He has published research in quantum optics and quantitative finance and has given talks at master’s programmes and international conferences.
