Francesca Cibrario earned a master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2018 and began her career at Intesa Sanpaolo in 2019, after working at the startup she co-founded during her final year as a student. Throughout her academic and professional experience, her work has focused on innovative technologies, exploring a range of technological domains, including mobile and backend development, artificial intelligence, and augmented reality. Since 2023, she has been dedicated to researching the applicability of quantum computing to financial use cases, with particular emphasis on credit risk analysis, option pricing, portfolio selection and the potential of this technology to enhance optimization and machine learning tasks.
