Giancarlo Marzola is a PhD student at the University of Sussex Business School, conducting research at the intersection of Decentralised Finance (DeFi) and Risk Management. Under the supervision of Carol Alexander and Jiahua Xu (UCL), he is currently researching risks in DeFi lending protocols, using agent-based modelling to better understand the drivers and dynamics of liquidity risk.
