Luca Magri is a Professor in Scientific Machine Learning at Imperial College London. Prior to his current roles, he was Lecturer at the University of Cambridge and conducted research as a fellow at Stanford University's Center for Turbulence Research. He was awarded his PhD in Engineering by the University of Cambridge in 2015.
His research focuses on combining computational science, scientific machine learning and quantum machine learning/algorithms to tackle problems in chaotic systems with funding from major initiatives including the European Union and UK Research Innovation. Luca Magri is also active in educational outreach, and consultancy within the fields of scientific machine learning and quantum algorithms.
