Mark is the Head of Data Sourcing at CFM, the Paris-based quantitative hedge fund, where he is responsible for spearheading the identification, testing and acquisition of new datasets. He joined from Exabel, the Norwegian alternative data technology platform. Mark is also the creator and host of The Alternative Data Podcast, in which he interviews different personae from the alternative data space about their work and their views of the sector. Mark holds a Masters in Big Data from IE University in Madrid, and a Masters in International Business from the University of Leeds. In a former life Mark was a Senior Geopolitics Analyst at Stratfor, the Texas-based consultancy.
