Toby Crabel is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Crabel Capital Management, a systematic trading firm he founded in the 1980s that now manages $5 Billion. A pioneer of short-term technical and volatility-based trading, Crabel is best known for his research into range-breakout methodologies, including the Opening Range Breakout (ORB) approach he first published in 1990. He continues to lead research at the firm today.
