Amrit is the Head of Model Risk Management for the Aegon Group and on has on his journey shaped Model Risk Management beyond Model Validation. The past 5 years he has spent his time heading up Model Risk Management and Financial Review for the Aegon Group. Prior to that Amrit split his time between Model Validation and ERM Maturity Assessments across the Aegon Group. After holding different financial and actuarial reporting roles at the Group as well as local units and setting up a joint venture life insurer in Asia. Prior to joining Aegon in 2005, Amrit worked as an actuary at the Dutch pension fund PGGM for 6 years in different roles.

Amrit qualified as a CFA charter holder in 2006, a Fellow of the Dutch Society of Actuaries in 2002 and graduated in Actuarial Science from the University of Amsterdam in 2000.
