Gilda Neiman is an Executive leader focused on the latest approaches to sustainability governance. She accompanies, guides and challenges executives and board directors on what they must be doing now to engage their companies and institutions in a strategic debate and action on sustainability challenges and opportunities for their businesses.
She is an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairwoman of Greenomy - a Brussels based regtech that helps companies, banks and investors meet the reporting requirements of the EU Sustainable Finance Regulations. She is also an INED on the board of European Depositary Bank, Apex Group, in Luxembourg, where she is the board Sustainability lead and Chair of the Audit, Compliance and Risk Committee. She serves as Board and Steering Committee member of Chapter Zero Brussels, part of the Climate Governance Initiative of the World Economic Forum, and is Vice President on the Board of AmCham Belgium, where she founded the Sustainability & Innovation Committee in 2021. She is an influential diversity & inclusion leader, and active in youth leadership development and the future of work culture through her work at WoMen in Finance Belgium and on the Board of Fulbright Belgium, Luxembourg and Schuman. She also is an independent executive advisor to companies on Sustainability Governance.
Previously, she was CEO of Citi Belgium, Member of the Management Committee of Citi Luxembourg, and Senior Banker for the Financial Institutions, Public Sector and EU Institutions in Belgium and Luxembourg. Her banking career spans 35-years in international corporate banking with both Citigroup and JPMorgan in a number of coverage, product and risk roles.
Gilda holds a Masters Degree in Economics from Université Catholique de Louvain, a Corporate Finance – Global Markets Certification from the JP Morgan Finance Program NY and a Bachlors of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University & Universität Wien.
