Faisal Fawaz Al-Alamy is the Head of Legal at MDLBEAST, overseeing all legal matters for the Middle East’s largest music and entertainment company. With expertise in corporate governance, risk management, entertainment law, and intellectual property, he provides strategic counsel on regulatory compliance, talent agreements, sponsorships, and international acquisitions. Before joining MDLBEAST, Faisal was a practicing barrister and solicitor in Vancouver, where he served as lead counsel on complex civil litigation, employment law, intellectual property disputes, and high-profile criminal cases, including a landmark Supreme Court of Canada ruling on privacy rights. His diverse legal background also includes roles in corporate law, immigration law, and constitutional litigation. Faisal has restructured and streamlined MDLBEAST’s legal department, mentoring a team of junior lawyers and implementing training programs to enhance commercial awareness and operational efficiency. A graduate of the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Law, he has been an active lecturer, legal researcher, and community leader. Beyond his legal career, Faisal is a passionate music producer and live guitar performer, having spoken and performed at XP Music Futures in previous editions of the music conference & showcase.
