Shelley Frost is the Founder and Director of The Fridge, the region's premiere artist, entertainment and music management company. Since 2007, The Fridge is dedicated to supporting and developing the music and performing arts platform in the Middle East. Shelley and her multi-award-winning team are renowned for setting international standards and spearheading many high-profile events from conception through to production.

A respected and accomplished performer herself and based in the Middle East for 25 years, Shelley has a strong understanding of the entertainment subtleties of the Middle East, and holds a steadfast belief in the importance of creating a vibrant and culturally inclusive platform for the performing arts. She has a strong record of project management of high-profile events, concept creation and festival programme design. Most recently she has led the Expo 2020 mainstage programming and daily buskers in the Expo 2020 courtyards for the whole six months, while ahead of the pandemic, 2019 saw the delivery of the entertainment around the Papal Mass, the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi Opening and Closing, and full orchestral and choral support of the Andrea Bocelli tour to Abu Dhabi. She has produced three unique shows for Pacha Ibiza Dubai, as well as producing award winning stage shows Kalubela and Cirque du Souq. Shelley is the founder of the long-standing Fridge Concert Series, which was launched 14 years ago and remains the key platform for original UAE-based artists. She is the founder of the Arabian Philharmonic, and also the co-founder of ChoirFest Middle East – a highly popular festival bringing together singers of different ages from all around the region since 2013.

The Fridge encourages creative bravery, collaboration and the sharing of knowledge, providing variety to the wider audiences in the region - from fusion to classical, ethnic to avant-garde, funk and hip hop, and involving all types of performing arts.
