Abdulmalek Algarayis is a national leader in Saudi Arabia’s drone and emerging mobility sector. With a background in Aerospace Engineering, he combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to advance unmanned systems and aerial innovation across the Kingdom.
As a senior figure at the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, Abdulmalek has led national initiatives that established Saudi Arabia’s first Drone Academy, which has trained and empowered over 5,000 individuals through specialized bootcamps and training programs aimed at developing national talents and capabilities in the field. He also oversaw the organization of world-class drone racing competitions such as the Drone Racing World Cup in partnership with the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI).
In addition, Abdulmalek serves on several national committees focused on shaping drone policies, regulations, and industry standards, working to ensure the safe and sustainable integration of drones into future transportation systems. Through his efforts, Abdulmalek is helping position Saudi Arabia as a regional hub for advanced aerial mobility and innovation.
