Badar B. AlFughom is a highly experienced and successful leader in public and private sectors in the Kingdom in Project management, Construction and Engineering fields. He has been heading innovation, transformation, and business diversification in different companies through his career. He has a vast experience in leading integrated multicultural teams in high-visibility projects and programs in Project Management, Facility Management and Construction companies.

Badar began his career in Aramco where he was a Business Systems Analyst in Aramco Business Solutions group to design systems to enable business needs. When the kingdom mandated ARAMCO to build the beacon of education he was selected to be part of project management team (PMT)to lead this landmark project known as King Abdullah University for Science and Technology (KAUST), a cutting edge facilities for post graduate studies and R&D which includes latest technology for education and R&D such as the highest capacity of Super computing and visualization labs, bringing KAUST as worldwide center of excellence from the beginning of operation.

Badar,s next assignment was to lead the design of King Abdullah Sport City (KASC) project in London, UK. In ARAMCO projects, KAUST and KASC, Badar managed a multi-billion project successfully integrating major multi nationals’ consultants and contractors. Badar was then attracted by leading Saudi construction company, Al-Muhaidib Contracting Co. (AMC), to lead its ambition to take on mega projects. During his time with AMC, among other projects, he managed the design and delivery of the first fully automated Grain Silo project in the Red Sea City of Jizan. His last project with AMC was to design and build security and support building for SADARA project, a JV of Saudi ARAMCO and DAW Chemical.
