Dr. Shimaa Al-Quradaghi

Dr. Shimaa Ali Al-Quradaghi is an Assistant Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, College of Engineering, Qatar University. She is a graduate of the first cohort of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Qatar University, and pursued her graduate studies to become the first female Qatari to earn a PhD in Industrial Engineering.

She currently serves as Director of the Qatar Transportation and Traffic Safety Center at the College of Engineering, Qatar University, where she leads major interdisciplinary research initiatives, fosters national and international collaborations, and advances program and institutional accreditations (ABET, WASC) alongside ISO 9001 Quality Management certification.

Her leadership is collaborative and impact-driven, with a strong focus on aligning academic excellence, research, and innovation with Qatar’s strategic national priorities and global sustainability goals.
