Dr Sohaib Khan is the CEO and co-founder of Hazen.ai, an award-winning company pioneering video analytics for tra;ic safety through computer vision and deep learning. Since its inception in 2018, Hazen.ai has been at the forefront of transforming traffic management, leveraging real-time monitoring and predictive analytics to reduce road fatalities.

Dr Khan’s career spans leadership roles in academia and technology innovation. He previously served as Research Director at the GIS Technology Innovation Center at Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. Before that, he was Chair of the Computer Science Department at LUMS, Lahore, where he played a key role in founding the LUMS Center for Entrepreneurship and the Technology for People Initiative (TPI), a center dedicated to using technology to tackle governance, public policy, and socio-economic challenges.

He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida (2002), specializing in computer vision. Dr. Khan divides his time between Hazen.ai’s o>ices in Makkah and Lahore, continuing to drive innovation at the intersection of technology and societal impact.
