Profile

Mohammad Khan is the Associate Director of Bridges and Roads, Infrastructure Project Delivery at Red Sea Global (RSG) with responsibility of leading the Road and Bridge disciplines across the entire RSG portfolio. In his role, Mr. Khan is responsible for overseeing all aspects of tasks related to his area of expertise.

Prior to joining RSG, Mr. Khan worked as the Advisor and Specialist in Bridges and road structures at Abu Dhabi City Municipality, Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities with the responsibility for technical review and issuing approvals for large-scale road and infrastructure projects. Previously he worked with leading consulting companies and stakeholders and held various positions in AECOM, Parsons, Mouchel, and ICT in India and the Middle East.

Notably in his 29 years of professional experience that covers a wide range of expertise predominantly in design and management of most types of bridges, tunnels, underpass and roadway structures as well as updating technical manuals & guidelines.

Mr. Khan is a certified Associate Value Specialist by SAVE International. In 2022, he successfully accomplished the task of establishing the Value Engineering Guidelines for the Government of Abu Dhabi. These guidelines are being implemented across the region which have resulted in significant cost savings for road and infrastructure projects. He received Master’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1997 from Aligarh Muslim University (India) and pursued additional training and certifications. He has actively participated in many regional and international conferences as guest speaker in the field of bridges, tunnels and value engineering. Mr. Khan’s educational background combined with his extensive experience, make him wellequipped to tackle the challenges of ensuring adopting the best practices in the construction industry which make him an asset to RSG as he brings a unique blend of strategic vision and practical know-how to his role as Associate Director for Bridges and Roads.
