MP Shahdan is a highly accomplished Advanced Traffic Control Systems Project Management Consultant with over 22 years of specialized expertise in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Software Services, and large-scale program management.

For the past 10 years with the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), Shahdan has been a pivotal force in modernizing the capital's urban mobility landscape. They successfully spearheaded the three phases of the Advanced Traffic Control System (ATCS) project for RCRC, covering the massive in-field infrastructure upgrade, the establishment of the central traffic control center, and the setup of 24/7 operational procedures. This center now actively manages the majority of Riyadh's signalized intersections.

A proven leader in implementing complex, high-value programs, Shahdan also led the Projects Control function for an ITS Implementation Program and was a key contributor to the Saher (ATVAM) implementation in Riyadh (2010–2015).

A recognized thought leader, Shahdan is the author of the recently published book, Saudi Arabia: The country of the twenty first century (Jan 2025).
