Arnab is Partner and Chief Information & Innovation Officer at Pantheon Ventures. Pantheon has been at the forefront of private markets investing for more than 40 years, earning a reputation for providing innovative solutions across private equity, real assets and private credit. Pantheon has a combined $94.6bn in assets managed or advised (as of June 30, 2023) through a wide range of commingled flagship funds, customized separate accounts and private wealth & evergreen vehicles. Arnab is leading data-driven private markets portfolio construction capabilities and investor engagement best practices. Arnab leads a cross-functional group across Pantheon’s operating platform including Portfolio Management, Data Operations, Portfolio Analytics, Data Modeling, Business Intelligence, Client Reporting, Data Science & Engineering, AI & Application Engineering, Technology Operations, Information Security, Transformation & Change Office, Digital Strategy and Pantheon’s Innovation Lab.

Prior to joining Pantheon, Arnab spent 16+ years at BlackRock and most recently served as Managing Director & Chief Digital Officer for BlackRock Private Markets. In this role, he served as a digital, data & AI executive responsible for transforming BlackRock’s private markets business managing over $300+ billion in assets. Arnab and his team transformed many of the investment and investor relations processes by leveraging software, data lake and AI capabilities. Prior to this, Arnab served as the Co-Founder & Global Chief Operating Officer for BlackRock’s Alternative Solutions Group, an investment team he co-founded. Arnab led business development & operations for the billion multi-alternative investment team, delivering outcome-oriented portfolio construction across private markets asset classes and investment strategies.
